It’s Thanksgiving week! Only a few more days until we can start celebrating Christmas without shame (I have been listening to Christmas music / celebrating in my heart for over a month now)!
Since it’s National Adoption Month and I’m still posting daily about adoption and adoption-related things, today I’m going to share one of my favorite almost-Christmas, adoption-related items.
Every year, Hallmark comes out with an adoptive families ornament and it’s always so sweet! It has the year on it, and it’s super generic in that it isn’t specifically for an infant adoption, or foster-to-adopt, or international, like so many adoption-related things can be, only specific to one kind of adoption.
Also, it comes in a nice gift box so it’s great to give as a gift for an adoptive family.
We have gotten one every year since the year Anthony was born, and we already bought this year’s ornament too! We plan on continuing the tradition as long as they’re making them!
If you’re interested in purchasing past-years ornaments like we did, here are at least 2014, 2015 and 2016! I believe that 2014 was the first year they started doing the yearly adoption ornaments, although adoption-related ornaments can be found in past years, just not part of this official collection.
Just a reminder, later this week I’ll have special Black Friday/Cyber Monday posts with a GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY (!!!) and the first week in December I’ll do a week of quick and easy money making gigs! You can’t afford NOT to read this site! 🙂
Thanks for reading, friends!
