It’s Christmas Time! Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Something

December 1st!  Finally!  Christmas Time!!!

Everyone has different rules about Christmas music:
Some people wait until Thanksgiving.
Some people wait until December.
Some people wait Halloween is over (like me).
Some people wait until the last possible minute (like my husband).

Regardless of which rule you follow, you must agree that by December 1st, it’s time.

Let me share with you my very favorite band, who sing my very favorite Christmas album!  Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Something!

I talked about them last month because they did the majority of the music for the adoption documentary Closure.  In fact, Chelsea (Mrs. Something) used to be an adoption counselor for Bethany Christian Services!  They are a Christian married couple who are a folk-music duo.  So good!

Their album The Nativity EP is just my favorite.  It’s four songs: two originals (I Have Seen the King, God With Us) and two Christmas favorites (Go Tell It On the Mountain, O Come, O Come, Emmanuel).  Literally the two originals are basically my favorite two Christmas songs.

They are soooo great live.
Especially for Christmas performances, they play a lot of fun Christmas covers, plus their songs from The Nativity EP.

You’re in luck!
This weekend they are playing at the Leavenworth Tree Lighting on both Friday Night (December 8th) and Saturday afternoon (December 9th)
This is always a fabulous show!

In the meantime, buy The Nativity EP and play it on repeat!  I’ll be sure to share about their upcoming concerts on the Macaroni Forever Facebook page as they announce them!

tl;dr:
